Soil Microorganisms based agriculture

Before the advent of chemical fertilizers the organic manure was added to soil to boost agriculture productivity. What does the organic manure do? The organic manure decomposes to give liquid carbon as food to the soil microorganisms. The soil microorganisms grow and do a process of bio mining.

What is bio mining?
Plants need about 13 mineral nutrients from the soil in a water dispersible ionic form. Most of the minerals in the soil are in a non-soluble mineral form. When soil microorganisms sit on these minerals they break the chemical bond between ions and solubilize the ions into an ionic form and deliver to the plants.
For example. If we have Calcium phosphate as a mineral, the soil microorganisms sitting on this mineral breaks the chemical bond between calcium and phosphate and deliver both the nutrients to the plants in an ionic form. This is one example of bio mining.
Soil microorganisms also absorb gaseous nitrogen from the air and convert into organic nitrogen and deliver it to the plants through Archaea and mycorrhizal fungi. In a similar fashion all essential mineral nutrients iron, zinc, boron, calcium, magnesium etc. etc. are delivered to the plants by soil microorganisms through bio mining.
When we do soil testing we only test for soluble nutrients in the soil. The insoluble nutrients are thus left out. All minerals are present in all types of soils. This has been ensured by the creator. By ensuring that the microorganisms are healthy and growing well, you do not need to add any chemical fertilizers to the soil. These microorganisms are akin to trillions of factories in the soil supplying nutrients to the plants.
Everyone is aware that adding chemical fertilizers and weedicides to soil kills the soil microorganisms and degrade the soil. Food grown using chemical fertilizers lack essential mineral nutrients making people dependent on them unhealthy. All modern day diseases like diabetes, heart, cancer, asthma etc. can be traced to eating food not having all nutrients.
Converting an agriculture land from chemical fertilizers to an organic one can be very painful since the yield drops significantly. The poisons in the soil have to be driven out before the liquid carbon pathway can be established and enable the microorganisms to come back to deliver nutrients to the plants.

NUALGI FOLIAR SPRAY
We at Nualgi Nanobiotech have innovated, developed, patented a Nanonutrient called “Nualgi Foliar Spray” that can help convert degraded chemical fertilizer polluted land back to Organic cultivation without problems of yield drop or expensive costs. The cost of production of crops will be low.
“Nualgi foliar spray” (NFS) is a nanonutrient with 12 essential nutrients loaded on nano silica. When sprayed on to plants it is absorbed through the stomata openings of the leaves and is lodged onto the chlorophyll. This package of nutrients boosts photosynthesis of all plants. The plants absorb more Carbon dioxide from the air and make a liquid carbon pathway and send it through the roots into the soil as oozuates. This liquid carbon is the food for soil microorganisms in the root zone. The microorganisms grow well and do bio mining and deliver nutrients in the ionic form to the plants.

How do the soil microorganisms know what nutrients to deliver to the plants?
The plants by sending liquid carbon as food to the microorganisms enter into a symbiotic relationship with them. For every nutrient required they send a particular amino acid that tells the microorganisms to deliver a particular nutrient and the quantity. The microorganisms hunt for the nutrient and comply with the order from the plant. No surplus or shortage!
If the soil is highly degraded it can be revived by introducing beneficial soil microorganisms like Trichoderma and Pseudomonas through cow dung by culturing and by adding soil bacteria. However it will work only if Nualgi foliar spray is used to boost the photosynthesis and promote the liquid carbon pathway.
More than 50,000 farmers have adopted NFS system in Hassan, Madikeri, and in Tamil Nadu. We can also make a direct presentation if invited.

JEEVAMRUTHA

Jeevamrutha, popularized by Shri Subhash Palekar, is considered to be a panacea for the prosperity of small farmers. It is important to provide a congenial environment to microorganisms that help in making available the essential nutrients for plant growth viz., nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, to the plants. Jeevamrutha provides such an environment to beneficial microbes. Application of Jeevamrutha to soil improves the soil considerably. It also encourages microbial activity in the soil.

PREPARATION METHOD

METHOD OF USE:

STRICTLY USE JEEVAMRUTHA ONLY AFTER ADDING ANOTHER 4 DRUMS OF WATER (TOTAL 1000 LITERS)

Mix all of them and keep them in a shade for 3-4 days. Stir the mixture once a day. Apply the mixture when the ground is wet for the plants. This seems to work wonders for the plants due to increased microbial activity by 3rd and 4th day. This is an excellent culture for enabling the exponential increase of beneficial microbes. The microbes are added thru 2-3 handful of local soil.
Though it can be used even after 6-7 days, its quite a challenge getting near the mixture due to overpowering stench, hence advisable to use this within 3-4 days of preparation.

NANO NUTRIENTS ---- THE NEXT GREEN REVOLUTION.––

T.Sampath Kumar CEO M/s. Nualgi Nanobiotech

Introduction: The excessive application of fertilizers and micronutrients on to the soil to get higher productivity may soon be replaced with precision nanonutrients based agriculture. The fossil fuel based agriculture has already become non viable due to high costs and depleting natural resources. Land has been degraded and the environment and waters have been polluted. A drastic change has become long overdue.
Problems in fossil fuel based agriculture:
It is common knowledge that about 90% of the fertilizers and micronutrients added to the soil are wasted and do not reach the intended recepient. The excessive fertilizer in the soil also kills the beneficial microbial population that helps the soil to retain its fertility. Uncoupling of nitrogen and carbon cycle happens if N is added to soil. The plant does photosynthesis and has to send in liquid carbon through exudates that boost the microbial population in the soil.
The microbes do nitrogen fixing, solubilizing P, K and other minerals. If liquid carbon exudates are reduced then the availability of essential minerals, trace elements, vitamins and hormone are restricted. These affect plant tolerance to environmental stresses such as frost, drought, resistance to insects, diseases and translate to lower nutritional value of food. The current productivity has remained static and costs have ballooned and it is no longer profitable to do farming.
The unsolved problems of fossil fuel based agriculture are.
1. The nitrates, phosphates and potassium added to soil get leached out into the waters affecting lakes, rivers, and underground waters.
2. The phosphates added to the soil get reduced to the insoluble form by reacting with the soil and resulting in nonavailability to the plants.
3. Inorganic micro nutrients added to the soil get oxidised/reacts with other ions and form insoluble precipitates thereby making them unavailable for plants.
4. EDTA chelated micronutrients are single micronutrient products, they are expensive and progressively unstable beyond pH7 and face the same fate as inorganic nutrients when added to soil.
5. Foliar spraying of chelated micro nutrients is restricted to individual elements and has to be sprayed separately.
6. Correcting the soil pH is a difficult and expensive exercise and cannot be universally applied. Solution to the problems: Nualgi Foliar Spray
The solution to all of these lies in the use of NANONUTRIENTS. The new technology will be cheaper, better, give better productivity without degradation of the land, reduce the requirement of nonrenewable natural resources, and can be applied universally for all crops and regions of the globe.
We at Nualgi Nanobiotech have developed and patented Nanonutrients that can revolutionise the conventional agriculture that we know of. Our product NUALGI FOLIAR SPRAY has 12 nutrients loaded onto a nano silica base. The nutrients are Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Cobalt, Boron, Molybdenum, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorous, and Sulfur. This is the only product available in the world that has all micronutrients in the nanoform available as a single product.

Mode of application:
The foliar spray disperses into nano particles in water and stays as such without gelling or precipitation and can tolerate pH ranging from 4 to 11. This has to be sprayed on to crops directly as foliar spray. This product cannot be used for soil application since the soil ions react with the nano particles making it unstable. Hence it has to be used only as a foliar spray.

Field trials using Nualgi Foliar Spray:
Most of the agriculture all over the world is done by people with little or no education. Since Nualgi foliar spray is universal for all crops, even without soil analysis or other studies the farmer can reap very good benefits by just giving a 2 to 3 spray instalments of Nualgi foliar spray for any crop.
Nualgi foliar spray has been tested for several crops including bananas, mangoes, sapota, ginger, chille, tomatoes, maize, wheat, rice, potatoes, cotton, roses, sericulture, coffee, etc.
Mechanism of function of Nualgi Foliar Spray:
The leaf of a plant is akin to a factory doing photosynthesis and the nutrients are the machinery. The raw materials are water, CO2, sunlight, nutrients, and finished products are carbohydrates, proteins, fats and biomass in the form of cellulose. For efficient photosynthesis to happen all the nutrients have to be made available to the leaf surface.
When Nualgi Foliar Spray is sprayed on to the leaf top, all the nutrients are absorbed and within a few days significant changes are seen. The leaves become dark green, broader and thicker in size, a shine is seen on the leaves, and the plant growth is faster. Photosynthesis is boosted and the growth phase is triggered and the plant is able to absorb water and balancing nutrients from the soil more efficiently. Exudates from the plant helps boost microbial population in the soil that ensures Nitrogen fixing, solubilizing of all minerals etc. Drought tolerance is also observed to have improved. The plant is able to withstand the extremeties of the weather. There is greater resistance to pest attack. Progressively the requirements of inorganic fertilizers are reduced/eliminated.
Concluding remarks:
We believe that nanonutrient based Nualgi foliar spray helps the healthy growth of plants leading to higher yields in agricultlure. It is quite likely that applicatiion of Nualgi foliar spray on a mass scale can make a significant impact on the agricultural landscape.
